New Venue Coming in January
Beginning with our first program in 2019, we will have a luncheon program at the newly-renovated Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country Hotel. The hotel has gone through a stunning renovation recently. There is also a new chef who was previously at the Hilton Hotel that was unfortunately lost in the October 2017 wildfires. Here is some useful information you should know when coming to our events at the Hyatt:
The hotel address is 170 Railroad Street in Santa Rosa in the Railroad Square district. You can enter either from Third Street, just west of the entrance to the 101 freeway and before Wilson Street. Or you can continue to the stoplight at Railroad Street/Wilson Street; turn south onto Railroad Street, and then turn left into the Hyatt main entrance. At either parking entrance, take a ticket from the ticket machine. Bring it to our event to be stamped for validation by one of our volunteers. We encourage car pooling as WACSC will be charged for the parking we use.
To park near the banquet room entrance, travel to the east side of the hotel (opposite the freeway) where you should find plenty of spaces. Alternatively, you can enter via the main hotel lobby, turn left inside, and proceed to the far side of the building.
When leaving the parking lot after the event, insert your validated ticket into the machine at the gate; the gate should open to allow you to leave. If you do not get your ticket stamped for validation from us at check in, you will need to pay at one of the machines in the hallway to the lobby. It is very expensive, so please do not forget to have your ticket stamped.
We are excited about having such a beautiful new venue so centrally located in Santa Rosa. We are hoping that you will have a wonderful experience here and, as always, enhance your knowledge and world perspective from our speaker programs.
