Meet Joe Leadem, WACSC Board Member
Joe is a valuable WACSC member, serving on both the Board and the Program Committee, where he helps locate and sign up future speakers. At events themselves, you’ll often see Joe working with speakers to perfect both the visual and sound components. Joe writes:
I’ve been a member of the World Affairs Council for over eight years. I joined as a way to meet new people and learn more about the world around me. I haven’t been disappointed in either regard!
After graduating from Dartmouth College and UC Berkeley’s School of Business, I started a small company, Top Producer, and ran it for over 30 years. It specialized in providing business development, sales training, marketing, and product/service knowledge to some of the biggest financial services companies in the U.S. and Canada.
In addition to participating in the World Affairs Council, my other main focus these days is on saving America. How’s that for ambitious? I believe the key is for the US to become more of a real democracy. My inspiration is Switzerland’s government structure. To learn more, go to www.thesaveamericaproject.org
