Linda Drew joins our Board at just the right time, as we are growing in membership and monthly attendance at events, so her energy and wise counsel will be invaluable. Right out of the gate she will take on the important role of Events Registration Coordinator. Linda writes:
I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Saratoga, where I graduated from Saratoga High School. I entered UC Berkeley, graduating in 1977 with a degree in Human Biodynamics.
I married Chuck Drew the next year, and we settled in San Carlos, and had two children, Chris and Allie.
Later on, I pursued a career teaching sales and public speaking for the Dale Carnegie Courses, as well as serving as a recruiter in the high-tech industry. And I enjoyed volunteering for good causes: as president of our children’s PTA’s Coordinating Council; San Carlos Little League; and PAMF Community Advisory Council. My longest involvement was with Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., where, for 27 years, I served on its board and chaired many of its fundraising efforts.
Chuck and I moved to Santa Rosa in 2019, where I am currently on the steering committee of Women’s Health at Memorial Hospital. Plus, I joined IMPACT 100 in 2021, and was president in 2025.
Chuck and I have two grandchildren: one in Santa Rosa and one a little farther away—in Chengdu, China! In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, listening to audiobooks, gardening, salt cellar collecting, visiting museums, and playing board games with friends.
It’s a full life, indeed!
